Role Overview

As a Critical Call Handler with Blue Arrow, you will be the first point of contact for individuals in their most critical time of need. You will receive calls from people in extraordinary circumstances and provide a reliable service in high-pressure situations.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual who can effectively communicate with callers, empathize with their situation, and direct them to the appropriate emergency services.

This is a Safety Critical role that requires exceptional communication and active listening skills, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence. If you have a genuine desire to help people and make a difference, then this role may be suitable for you.

Our comprehensive training program will equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role. As part of our team, you will have access to ongoing support from trainers, team leaders, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and respond to emergency calls in a calm and professional manner
  • Demonstrate successful communication and active listening skills
  • Apply critical thinking to prioritize caller needs and direct them to the most appropriate emergency services
  • Show empathy and compassion when interacting with callers
