Legionella Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Legionella Risk Assessor to join our client's team in Exeter, Devon. As a Water Hygiene Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting Legionella Risk Assessments and undertaking Water Hygiene duties across a diverse portfolio of Commercial, Local Authority, and Industrial Client sites in the South West of England.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conducting Legionella Risk Assessments in accordance with ACOP L8 guidelines
  2. Writing comprehensive technical reports outlining findings and recommendations
  3. Undertaking Water Hygiene duties, including Water Sampling, Temperature Monitoring, TMV Servicing, CWST Chlorinations, and Showerhead Descales
  4. Representing the company in a professional manner while carrying out duties on Client sites
  5. Opportunities for upskilling and cross-training within the industry

Requirements:

  1. Must hold the City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessing (WMSoc) qualification as a minimum
  2. Hands-on experience of undertaking ACOP L8 Water Hygiene duties
  3. Able to conduct Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot and cold systems
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills
