We are recruiting for a Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer for our Client, a prestigious Environmental outfit. Contracts cover the South West of England, including a mixed portfolio of Commercial, Local Authority, and Industrial Client sites. The role involves a mix of Legionella Risk Assessments and Water Hygiene duties, making it suitable for candidates with a well-rounded skillset. Our Client offers competitive salaries and packages, as well as exciting cross-training and development opportunities within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8 guidelines
- Writing accompanying technical reports outlining findings and recommendations
- Undertaking Water Hygiene duties such as: Water Sampling, Temperature Monitoring, TMV Servicing, CWST Chlorinations, and Showerhead Descales
- Representing the company in a professional manner while carrying out duties on Client sites
- Opportunity to upskill and cross-train within the industry
- Must hold the City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessing (WMSoc) as a minimum
- Will need hands-on experience of undertaking ACOP L8 Water Hygiene duties
- Able to undertake Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot & cold systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
