About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented accountant to join our expanding real estate team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reconciling accounts, managing accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely payment of bills and invoices
  • Reconcile business accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
  • Perform other accounting tasks as needed to support the real estate team
  • Enter financial data into computer software and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Accounting experience is required
  • Experience in the real estate industry is preferred
  • Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software, such as Quickbooks
  • A background in accounting or finance is valuable, but not required
Compensation

$21 - $28 hourly
