Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal & HR Assistant to provide critical support to our Legal and HR departments. The successful candidate will have a keen understanding of both legal and human resources responsibilities and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the General Counsel in managing theatre agreements, supplier agreements, and other contractual matters.
  • Coordinate and provide administrative support for all business-as-usual contracts, including record-keeping and follow-up with stakeholders.
  • Provide support and administrative assistance on ad-hoc legal and commercial issues, including disputes and litigation matters.
  • Undertake research and generate know-how on a broad range of legal and regulatory matters.
  • Support recruitment processes, including reviewing job descriptions and person specifications, placing advertisements, and scheduling interviews.
  • Assist the HR Manager with implementing the new integrated HR & Payroll system and supporting managers in these areas.
  • Coordinate employee starter and leaver processes, including providing reference letters and collecting personal information and contracts.
  • Support the HR Manager with internal HR processes, including keeping accurate records and taking notes in disciplinary and grievance meetings.
  • Assist in the development and administration of HR, management, and leadership training programs.
  • Provide assistance in complying with data subject rights, including data subject access requests and deletion of data.
Requirements
  • Legal background, including practical or academic legal experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrable ability to prioritize and work to deadlines.
  • Positive and supportive attitude.
  • Resilient with an ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office packages.
  • Ability to maintain absolute discretion.
  • Works well within a team.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage several matters simultaneously.
