About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated SEN Assistant to join our team at an exceptional school in Islington. The successful candidate will have a strong background in supporting students with special educational needs and be able to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to create a tailored support plan.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, patient, and have excellent communication skills. They will also have a clear understanding of SEN strategies and interventions and be able to adapt to the changing needs of students.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing one-to-one support to students with complex learning needs
  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Contributing to the development of a supportive and inclusive classroom environment

We offer a competitive salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience), as well as opportunities for professional development and a supportive work environment.

Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
