Job Title: Travel Consultant

Award-winning Tour Operator is seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to join their team. As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and guiding customers in choosing the perfect holiday.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert knowledge and advice to customers to ensure they choose the right holiday for their needs.
  • Deal with inbound customer enquiries and convert them into bookings, as well as provide advice via live chat and email.
  • Identify customer needs and match them to a suitable product.
  • Build rapport with customers by providing professional, informative, and friendly responses to enquiries.
  • Receive inbound calls from customers and continue to own the relationship with those customers.
  • Make outbound calls to customers to follow up on potential bookings.
  • Update internal systems with accurate and crucial information.
  • Ensure enquiries are dealt with quickly and efficiently in line with SLAs and with the best outcome for the customer.
Requirements:
  • A demonstrated passion for travel and ideally sales experience within the travel industry.
  • Able to build rapport with customers and provide an exceptional customer experience.
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • A thirst for knowledge and expanding your experience.
  • A track record of building exceptional customer relationships within a customer service environment.
