Job Title: Territory Manager Northern Ireland

This is a field-based role that requires travel on a day-to-day basis, mainly in the appointed territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory.
  • Make telephone calls and in-person visits to existing and prospective customers to promote and sell Straumann's products and services.
  • Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
  • Develop clear and effective written proposals and quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, sales management, accounting, customer services, and logistics.
  • Analyze the territory potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers to the organization.
  • Create and manage a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share, and value opportunities.
  • Utilize CRM and IANO-S software to enable identification and progress of customer interactions.
  • Identify advantages of and compare Straumann's products and services.
  • Plan and organize personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time investment for the territory.
  • Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
  • Participate in trade shows and conventions.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualification or equivalent is preferable.
  • Previous sales experience or related experience in a sales excellence-related role in the dental industry - 3 years plus.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify potential business solutions for customers based on customer values and ambitions.
  • Ability to build mutually beneficial relationships based on trust and respect.
  • Demonstrated aptitude from problem-solving.
  • Results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software.
  • Valid driver's license.
