Operational Risk Reporting Specialist

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Operational Risk Reporting Analyst to join our team at Aviva Investors. As a key member of the Risk Reporting team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company maintains a robust risk and control environment and meets its regulatory requirements.
About the Role:The Operational Risk Reporting Analyst will work closely with the Risk Reporting team and the wider Operational Risk team to support the Senior Analyst/Manager and Senior Manager in collating and preparing consolidated risk events reports and analysis. You will also be responsible for maintaining the monthly Risk Reporting KRI dashboard and investigating exceptions to ensure that the company is meeting its regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Senior Analyst/Manager and Senior Manager in generating, reviewing, and providing high-quality and insightful incident reports to clients or departments.
- Investigate exceptions and obtain and challenge business-proposed remedial actions for exceptions.
- Maintain the monthly Risk Reporting KRI dashboard and ensure that the company is meeting its regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the Risk Reporting team and the wider Operational Risk team to ensure that the company maintains a robust risk and control environment.
- Reasonable knowledge of risk events management.
- Some knowledge of risk identification, measurement, management, monitoring, and reporting practices across the asset management and other financial services sectors.
- Some knowledge of the workings of the FCA and other global regulators, in particular an understanding of their key concerns and how this translates into their objectives in overseeing operational risk management.
- Good appreciation of working globally and sensitivity to cultural diversity.
