Operational Risk Reporting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Operational Risk Reporting Manager to join our team at Aviva Investors. As a key member of our Risk Reporting team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our risk reporting.
About the Role:The Operational Risk Reporting Manager will work closely with the Risk Reporting team and the wider Operational Risk team to maintain a robust risk and control environment and meet our regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Senior Operational Risk Reporting Manager in establishing and maintaining the Risk Events, Errors and Breaches Policy and the incidents management system.
- Performing second-line incidents monitoring activities to assess the embeddedness of the policy across the business.
- Escalating material failures, concerns, or themes to the Senior Manager and supporting the Senior Manager in raising awareness and addressing such concerns.
- Preparing moderately complex and sophisticated data analysis and deep dives to support the Senior Manager in discussions or presentations to senior stakeholders and/or committees.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Reasonable knowledge of risk events management.
- Reasonable knowledge of risk identification, measurement, management, monitoring, and reporting practices across the asset management and other financial services sectors.
- Some knowledge of the workings of the FCA and other global regulators, in particular an understanding of their key concerns and how this translates into their objectives in overseeing operational risk management.
- A good appreciation of working globally and being sensitive to cultural diversity.
- Sound experience and asset management background.
