Operational Risk Reporting Specialist

Aviva is seeking an experienced Operational Risk Reporting Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the Risk Reporting team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company maintains a robust risk and control environment and meets its regulatory requirements.
About the Role:The Operational Risk Reporting Analyst will work closely with the Risk Reporting team and the wider Operational Risk team to:
- Collate and prepare consolidated risk events reports and analysis
- Maintain the monthly Risk Reporting KRI dashboard
- Investigate exceptions and obtain and challenge business proposed remedial actions
- Support the Senior Analyst/Manager in generating, reviewing, and providing high-quality incidents reports to clients or departments
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Reasonable knowledge of risk events management
- Some knowledge of risk identification, measurement, management, monitoring, and reporting practices across the asset management and other financial services sectors
- Some knowledge of the workings of the FCA and other global regulators, in particular an understanding of their key concerns and how this translates into their objectives in overseeing operational risk management
- A good appreciation of working globally and sensitivity to cultural diversity
- Relevant professional memberships to support the role (not mandatory, but highly recommended)
