Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer to join our Cyber Security team in Newport, South Wales. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-speed digital electronics for cryptographic technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Specify and perform electronics hardware design for allocated elements of the product design architecture
  • Ensure electronics hardware is designed, developed, integrated, and tested in accordance with Airbus standards
  • Support the design and development of critical components where decisions have a significant impact on project timescales
  • Represent Airbus on project-related technical matters at stakeholder meetings

Requirements:

  • Educated to Degree level in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience of digital design and high-speed electronic equipment
  • Proven capability to design CE-compliant electronics with EMC, Safety, TEMPESR, and RoHS criteria
  • Experience of schematic capture and PCB layout
