Hardware Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Hardware Design Engineer to join our Cyber Security team at Airbus Defence and Space Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for specifying, performing, and documenting electronics hardware design for allocated elements of the product design architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Specifying hardware architectures and solutions to problem statements
- Performing in-house electronics design for allocated area of responsibility
- Ensuring the electronics hardware is designed, developed, integrated, and tested in accordance with Airbus standards
- Supporting the design and development of critical components where decisions have a significant impact on project timescales
- Representing Airbus on project-related technical matters at stakeholder meetings
Requirements
- Educated to Degree level (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering
- Experience of digital design
- Proven capability to design high-speed electronic equipment that is CE compliant with EMC, Safety, TEMPESR, and RoHS criteria
- Experience of schematic capture and PCB layout
