We are seeking a skilled Reporting Accountant to join our team at Babcock International. As a Reporting Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting the FP&A Manager in providing a reporting service to the Land Sector Training Business Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide accurate and timely financial data to the Business Facing finance teams within the Training BU.
- Liaise with the Group, Sector, and Business Facing Finance teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Work within the Land Sector FP&A Team to provide a reporting service for the Business Facing finance teams within the Training BU.
- Deputise for the FP&A Manager when required and assist with managing the relationship with Group and BU Finance.
- Support identified continuous improvement projects on behalf of the BU finance and Sector FP&A teams.
- Support consolidation, review, and sign-off of the Training Business Unit management accounts with the Training FD.
- Ability to understand and manipulate data to present clear and concise financial messages for review.
- Ability to ensure deadlines and targets are achieved or surpassed.
- Ability to maintain knowledge of industry and regulatory standards in respect to Financial Reporting.
- Extensive experience in the use of Microsoft suite of applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Proven track record using BPC Reporting system or a similar application.
- Recognised professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, ACMA, CIMA, ICAEW, ICAS) or equivalent/similar.
