Clinical Advisor for Disability Benefits

In this role as a Clinical Advisor for Disability Benefits, you will play a critical part in assessing the cases of claimants applying for Work Capability benefit as part of the DWPs Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS). You will use your clinical expertise to understand how various health conditions impact daily life, creating comprehensive reports that support informed decision-making by the DWP.
About the Role- Conduct in-depth assessments with individuals who have diverse health conditions, using your clinical experience to gain a clear understanding of their challenges.
- Work in a dynamic office-style environment and at home, completing detailed assessments via telephone, video, or face-to-face.
- Interpret medical evidence and gather findings into comprehensive reports to support DWP decision-making.
To be considered for this role, you must be a Qualified Nurse or Occupational Therapist with:
NMC/HCPC registrationAt least 1 year's broad post-registration experienceUK experience is essentialProactive, keen to learn, and receptive to feedbackExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to work autonomously and possess I.T competencyWhat We OfferThis role comes with a competitive salary of £39,500 per annum, along with a range of benefits including:
