Leonard Cheshire UK is seeking a skilled and caring Disability Support Worker to join our team in Sutton Coldfield. As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live fulfilling lives.

The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal skills, be able to communicate effectively, and work flexibly and creatively with customers and their families. Previous experience in care or a related field is desirable but not essential. We offer an excellent training and induction programme for everyone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily life tasks including personal care, medication, and mealtimes.
  • Escort and assist in and around the service, at external events and appointments.
  • Support our Person Centred approach, encouraging maximum independence for our customers and helping to achieve individual aspirations.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records.

Salary and Benefits:

As a Disability Support Worker at Leonard Cheshire UK, you can expect a competitive salary of approximately £24,000 per annum, depending on your experience.
