Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement health promotion programs for school-age children and their families.
  • Provide specialist nursing care and support to children and young people with complex health needs.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and support for children and young people.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to child health and well-being.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of school nursing services.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse Part 1/RSCN/RMN qualification.
  • Specialist Community Public Health Nurse School Nursing - Cert/Diploma/Degree.
  • Mentorship in Clinical Practice/ENB998 certificate.
  • Nurse Prescribing Qualification.
  • Leadership training.
