Job Profile:The Business Development Manager (B2B Fleet) will report to the Commercial Director and be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across van sales and conversion specialisms. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders to identify and deliver new business opportunities.
- Utilize industry knowledge, relationships, and lead sourcing to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Take ownership of customer relationships, receiving inbound and making outbound calls to new and existing customers to support their needs for vehicle sales, bodybuilding, and conversions.
- Ensure all necessary documentation for vehicle sales is accurate and complete, including end user details, specifications, finance details, and vehicle allocations.
- Communicate with customers to gather required information, answer enquiries, and provide updates on their vehicle purchase process.
- Liaise with finance, operations, and registration departments to ensure timely processing of sales.
- Be accountable for sales reporting, using the CRM system and knowledge of pipeline deals and customers' needs to forecast and win business.
- Address and resolve any customer issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
- Work closely with other members of the sales team, production, and aftersales departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar field-based role and sector.
- B2B Fleet sales experience is essential.
- Proven ability to develop new business.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and generic CRM management software.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Relevant certifications in automotive sales or administration are a plus.
