Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to support our team in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing excellent customer service.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing medication supply and ensuring a safe and effective dispensing and distribution service.
  • Providing pharmaceutical care to patients within the Trust, facilitating prompt discharges.
  • Covering leadership responsibilities and participating in general dispensing and Core Band 5 checking duties.
  • Supervising the work of pharmacy technicians undergoing post-qualification training.
  • Accuracy checking of medications that have previously been clinically checked by a qualified pharmacist in accordance with department policy.
