This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in mechanical and electrical engineering to develop their skills and expertise in water treatment technologies.

About the Role:

  • Installation, maintenance, and repair services for mechanical, electrical, chemical, and instrumentation aspects of water treatment equipment.
  • Routine audits and inspections to ensure proper functioning and identify potential areas for improvement.
  • Testing and commissioning of water treatment projects, including system calibration and troubleshooting.
  • Guidance to subcontractors involved in installation and servicing.
  • Management of service workflow, preparation of material breakdowns, and definition of work requirements.
  • Utilisation of SCADA, PLC, and DCS platforms to control and monitor water treatment systems effectively.
  • Strict adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations.

Requirements:

  • Apprentice trained or time served equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with specific knowledge of water treatment technologies and control systems.
  • 17th/18th edition certification in electrical.
  • 5+ years of experience in field service work related to mechanical, electrical, and chemical installations within the water treatment industry.
