About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Mental Health Community Nurse to join our team at Maidstone CMHT. As a key member of the multidisciplinary care team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating care for individuals diagnosed with severe and enduring mental ill health.

As a Community Mental Health Nurse, you will work closely with local specialist mental health teams, tertiary service providers, primary care, and other agencies to provide comprehensive multi-disciplinary services. You will be based at Maidstone CMHT but may be expected to travel to our other site at Tunbridge Wells, Pembury.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate care for individuals diagnosed with severe and enduring mental ill health
  • Work closely with local specialist mental health teams, tertiary service providers, primary care, and other agencies to provide comprehensive multi-disciplinary services
  • Be professionally accountable to the Executive Director of Nursing and operationally accountable to the Matron/Clinical Service Manager
  • Hold a full, valid UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010)
