About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate to join our team as a Mental Health Assistant/Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will work alongside trained therapists, counsellors, and psychologists to support children with complex needs and mental health issues.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development, behaviour, and mental health, and be able to provide a high level of support to our students. The role will involve working with children aged 4-11, providing individual and group support, and contributing to the development of educational programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group support to students with complex needs and mental health issues
  • Work with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement educational programs
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of lessons and activities
  • Support students with behaviour and emotional challenges
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements

We are looking for a Graduate with a strong academic background and a passion for working with children. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g. Psychology, Counselling, Criminology)
  • Experience working with children with complex needs and mental health issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability

Salary: £80-£95 per day

Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm
