Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Prisoner Custody Officer. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for providing safe and secure escorting and custody services to detainees.
About the Role
As a PCO at Serco's Maidstone Combined Court, you will work closely with our experienced colleagues to ensure the physical and mental wellbeing of those in your care. Your duties will include accompanying defendants in court rooms and cells, searching property or people, and ensuring food and drink is available.

Salary and Benefits

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a current valid driver's license, be reasonably fit, and have good written and verbal communications skills. Our ideal candidate will also have an interest in criminology or psychology.
