We are seeking a skilled Water Industry Commissioning Specialist to join our team at Galliford Try Holdings plc. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will be responsible for delivering successful project outcomes in the water industry.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on some of the UK's most significant water industry projects, with the chance to develop your skills and experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure effective commissioning delivery of assigned projects, including development of project commissioning plans and strategies.
  • Work closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure full integration with existing assets and meet project requirements.
  • Collaborate with specialist teams to ensure timely completion of commissioning activities and resolution of issues affecting project progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including project MEICA and commissioning status updates.
  • Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure effective coordination and delivery of commissioning activities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the water industry, with a strong understanding of commissioning principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ability to create and present reports as required.
