Business Development Manager Job Description
**About the Role**
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support the growth of our powered access equipment hire business across the Midlands area. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and maximizing sales opportunities, developing relationships with new and existing clients, and achieving planned sales targets.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Identify and pursue sales opportunities in the powered access equipment market
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including new business development and account management
* Achieve sales targets and goals, working closely with the sales team and management
* Develop and present quotes and proposals to clients
* Identify and develop new markets and sales opportunities
**Requirements**
* Proven track record of success in a field sales role, preferably in a plant hire or powered access environment
* Experience of exceeding sales targets and KPIs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
* Target-driven and self-motivated, with a professional image
* Ability to influence and persuade to close sales deals
* Full UK driving license
