Administrative Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our General Surgery team on a permanent contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within our CAU Booking team, where you will be responsible for booking outpatient appointments, managing waiting lists, and assisting with patient queries.
The General Surgery service operates from 8.00am - 6.00pm, Monday - Friday, and you will be working closely with other team members, medical secretaries, clinicians, and the management team to ensure patients are managed appropriately.
As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional customer care skills and work collaboratively to deliver high-quality patient services.
Previous healthcare administration experience is desirable, but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided to gain a thorough understanding of the trust's access policy and the 18-week RTT pathway guideline.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred, but not required.
Our General Surgery team offers a supportive and friendly working environment where you will gain valuable experience of NHS administration.
