Job Summary
We are seeking an Application Support Engineer with experience in IFS to join our client based in Woking. As part of an existing team, you will be responsible for supporting the IFS system (currently Apps 10) and contributing to the migration to IFS Cloud.
About the Role
As an Application Support Engineer, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Providing user support and training
- Troubleshooting and investigating system errors
- FOLLOWING CHANGE CONTROL PROCEDURES AND ENSURING ADHERENCE TO COMPANY POLICIES
- Collaborating with external IFS partners to resolve issues when fixes cannot be made internally
- Preparing environments for new IFS releases
- Monitoring IFS Connect, Application Messages, and background jobs to ensure system stability
- Managing plans for database clones and organizing as necessary
The role involves working predominantly on-site with one day of remote work available each week.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience with IFS systems, preferably with Apps 10
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Salary Information
The estimated salary for this role is between £45,000 and £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
