Full Job Description:

As a Commercial Refrigeration Maintenance Engineer, you will operate within the designated service areas, executing scheduled maintenance tasks, addressing urgent repairs, and conducting leak assessments on various equipment, including chilled and frozen storage units, air handling systems, cooling tunnels, ice production machines, and air conditioning units.


Responsibilities & Activities:
1. Execute planned service and repairs on small to medium commercial refrigeration systems.
2. Conduct leak testing and repairs in compliance with F-gas regulations.
3. Perform reactive maintenance on equipment, including diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults.
4. Work primarily within the designated service areas.

Requirements:
1. Demonstrated experience in refrigeration service and maintenance for medium commercial refrigeration systems.
2. Background in larger refrigeration systems, ice production machines, air conditioning units, and retrofitting older systems.
3. Qualifications and experience in handling electrical circuits and troubleshooting.
4. NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
5. F-Gas Cat1 certification.
6. Reside within a reasonable commuting distance to the service areas.

Salary and Package:
Our client provides a competitive salary range from £40,000 to £45,000 annually, based on experience.

This role does not require involvement in a call-out rota or extensive overtime, making it suitable for an experienced engineer seeking a favorable work-life balance.
