Full Job Description:
In the role of Commercial Refrigeration Maintenance Engineer, you will operate from the designated site, executing scheduled service tasks, responsive maintenance, and leak assessments on a diverse range of machinery, including chilled and frozen storage units, air handling systems, cooling tunnels, ice production equipment, and air conditioning units.
Responsibilities & Activities:
• Scheduled service and repair of small to medium-sized commercial refrigeration systems.
• Conducting leak assessments and repairs in compliance with F-gas regulations.
• Responsive maintenance on equipment, including diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults.
• Operating from the client’s designated site.
Requirements:
• Demonstrated experience in refrigeration service and maintenance on medium-sized commercial refrigeration systems.
• Familiarity with larger refrigeration systems, ice production units, air conditioning systems, and retrofitting older installations.
• Qualifications and experience in working with electrical circuits and troubleshooting.
• NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• F-Gas Cat1 certification.
• Residing within a reasonable commuting distance to the client’s site.
Salary and Package:
Our client provides a competitive base salary ranging from £40,000 to £45,000 annually, contingent on experience.
This position does not involve participation in a call-out rota or extensive overtime, making it suitable for an experienced engineer seeking a favorable work-life balance.
