Job Summary: As a Commercial Refrigeration Maintenance Engineer with our client, you will be based at their site, performing planned service works, reactive maintenance, and leak testing on a variety of equipment, including chilled and frozen storage, air handling units, cooling tunnels, ice machines, and air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned service and repair of small to medium commercial refrigeration systems.
  • Carry out leak testing and repairs under the F-gas regulations.
  • Conduct reactive maintenance on equipment, including electrical fault finding and repairs.

Requirements:

  • Proven refrigeration service and maintenance experience on medium commercial refrigeration systems.
  • Experience working on larger refrigeration systems, ice machines, air conditioning systems, and retrofitting old systems.
  • Experience and qualifications for working on electrical circuits and fault finding.
  • NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.

Benefits: Our client offers a competitive basic salary ranging from 40,000 to 45,000 per year, depending on experience. This position does not require participation in a call-out rota or extensive overtime, making it ideal for an experienced engineer seeking a good work-life balance.
