Full Job Description:

In the role of Commercial Refrigeration Maintenance Engineer, you will be stationed at the client's site, engaging in scheduled service tasks, urgent maintenance, and leak detection across a diverse range of equipment, such as chilled and frozen storage units, air handling systems, cooling tunnels, ice production machines, and air conditioning units.


Responsibilities & Activities:
• Conduct planned service and repairs on small to medium commercial refrigeration systems.
• Perform leak detection and repairs in compliance with F-gas regulations.
• Execute reactive maintenance on equipment, including troubleshooting and electrical repairs.
• Operate primarily at the client's site.

Requirements:
• Demonstrated experience in refrigeration service and maintenance for medium commercial systems.
• Background in larger refrigeration systems, ice machines, air conditioning units, and retrofitting older systems.
• Qualifications and experience in working with electrical circuits and fault diagnosis.
• NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• F-Gas Category 1 certification.
• Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to the client's site.

Salary and Package:
Our client offers a competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £45,000 annually, based on experience.

This position does not involve participation in a call-out rota or require extensive overtime, making it suitable for an experienced engineer seeking a favorable work-life balance.
