Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our SEN department at a vibrant secondary school in Swinton. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in both group settings and one-to-one basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting SEN students in achieving their individual learning goals
  • Assisting teachers in delivering tailored learning plans
  • Collaborating with the SENCO and teaching staff to ensure high-quality support
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working within the UK school system is essential
  • Ideally, experience working in a secondary school environment
  • Ability to support students with varying learning needs and provide a nurturing learning atmosphere
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
