Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School Support

Job Description:

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in a SEN primary school in Swinton. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in a primary setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to a KS1 Year 2 pupil with ASC, helping them stay on task and follow their EHCP.
  • Support emotional and social development, communicating regularly with the class teacher and parents about pastoral or day-to-day issues.
  • Work in a calm and confident manner when managing disruptive behaviour, ensuring the pupil's well-being and safety.

Benefits:

  • A competitive rate of £83.85+ per day through PAYE, paid weekly.
  • A permanent role in a SEN primary school in Salford, easily reachable via public transport or car.
  • A full-time position, Monday to Friday, paid on a timesheet basis.
