Adult Mental Health Specialist

The Priory is committed to delivering exceptional mental health services, and we are seeking an experienced Adult Mental Health Specialist to join our team.

Estimated Salary:** £50,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Adult Mental Health Specialist to provide high-quality therapy services to our clients. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with colleagues to deliver holistic care and support.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop effective treatment plans, taking into account each client's unique needs and circumstances.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, applying evidence-based practices to promote positive change and empowerment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care coordination, sharing expertise and knowledge to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Administer and interpret psychometric tests to inform treatment decisions and interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to professional standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Psychologist, holding membership in a recognised professional association such as the HCPC
  • Extensive experience in providing one-to-one therapy to clients with various emotional and psychological issues
  • Proven expertise in conducting assessments, developing formulations, and delivering psychometric evaluations
  • Desirable experience in facilitating group work and therapeutic interventions
  • In-depth knowledge and experience working with adult caseloads
