We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Dietitian to join our Adult Mental Health team across Birmingham and Solihull. The successful candidate will have a degree in Dietetics and HCPC registration. Experience in mental health settings is desirable but not essential. The post holder will have the opportunity to work in partnership with a range of services to promote improved physical health for people with mental health conditions at different stages of their recovery. The team is supportive, innovative and provides strong links with the wider MDT and local services. Regular supervision and clinical supervision will be available to support the post holder in their role.

Main Duties

The post covers inpatient acute mental health wards. The post holder will work with people with a variety of clinical conditions including nutrition support, diabetes, bowel disorders, disordered eating, and weight management. The post holder will also have the opportunity to participate in audit, service improvement projects, CPD opportunities and student training.
