Job Title: Children's Community Specialist Dietitian

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Dietitian to join our team at Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Children's Community Specialist Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality dietetic care to children with complex needs in a community setting.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist dietetic care to children with complex disabilities, life-limiting conditions, and challenging behaviors.
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, social workers, and educators, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Conduct assessments, consultations, and home visits to provide dietetic support to children and their families.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, adhering to Trust policies and HCPC standards.
Requirements:
  • Registered Dietitian with current HCPC registration.
  • Postgraduate training or equivalent experience in Paediatric Dietetics.
  • Extensive experience of working within paediatric dietetics, including developing, implementing, and evaluating projects and audits.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to reflect and appraise own performance.
