We are seeking a Specialist Teacher to join our team, working with students who have social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have experience in therapeutic teaching, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour strategies.

Requirements

  • Therapeutic teaching approach
  • Experience of teaching with emotional regulation and positive behaviour/de-escalation strategies
  • Positive role model to support communication, with a sensitive, nurturing, and consistent approach
  • Experience with SEMH, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication teaching background
  • Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with vulnerable students
