Job Description

We are searching for experienced and passionate IT and Computing Specialist Teachers to join our progressive schools in East London. The ideal candidate will possess a PGCE and have attained Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS). Applications from Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) and those with equivalent qualifications, such as DTLLS, are also welcome.

  • Design and implement engaging Computer Science lessons for students.
  • Instruct students about programming, coding, and other essential computer science concepts.
  • Monitor and assess student progress in Computer Science.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop the Computer Science curriculum.
  • Participate in school events and extracurricular activities related to technology and computing.
Qualifications and Requirements
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
  2. PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification (DTLLS or similar).
  3. Dedication to teaching IT and Computing subjects.
