Penguin Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in a specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy.

Candidates are required to have a strong academic background in Civil Engineering and have experience completing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Design using Microdrainage or Causeway Flow.

This exciting opportunity will offer you the chance to work on varied Civil, Hydrological, Surface Water, Flood Risk, and Drainage Projects for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities, and Water Companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications, including the evaluation of flood risk and the development of mitigation strategies.
  2. Flood Estimation using FEH and Winfap, including the analysis of flood data and the development of flood risk models.
  3. Hydrological Assessments, including the evaluation of hydrological data and the development of hydrological models.
  4. Surface Water Management Plans and Catchment Management Plans, including the development of strategies for managing surface water and mitigating flood risk.
  5. Drainage Strategies and Drainage Design using AutoCAD, Microdrainage, and Causeway Flow, including the design of drainage systems and the development of strategies for managing drainage.
