Neurosurgery Senior Complex Spinal Fellow Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Complex Spinal Fellow to join our Neurosurgery team at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to develop their skills and expertise in complex spinal surgery.
Main Duties:- Run out-patient clinics and operating sessions with minimal supervision
- Work collaboratively with a team of 10 clinical, 2 academic registrars, and 3 fellows
- Perform on-call duties, including operating out-of-hours at a level appropriate for a Senior SpR
- Run a weekly Rapid Access Spine and Fracture clinic
- Contribute to audit and research projects at St George's and at RMH and RSCH
- Develop services and work collaboratively with the spine MDT coordinator and CNS
- Training in a neurosurgical training programme of a minimum of 5 years
- Developing knowledge of the basic science of spinal surgery and ability to apply it to clinical practice
- Computer skills, including database management and image processing systems
