Job Title: Senior Clinical Fellow in Neurosurgery

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Clinical Fellow in Neurosurgery to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care and advancing their professional development.

About the Role

The post is a Senior Clinical Fellow in Neurosurgery, working in a Royal College of Surgeons approved Fellowship. The successful candidate will be involved in both neurosurgery and orthopaedic spinal disciplines, with a focus on complex spine surgery. The role will provide opportunities for professional development, particularly in relation to CCT and CESR.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work as a Senior Clinical Fellow in Neurosurgery, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care
  • Develop subspecialist skills in complex spine surgery
  • Participate in a dedicated in-house consultant-led neurosurgical teaching programme
  • Support the development of broader professional and career goals, particularly in relation to CCT and CESR
Requirements
  • ST8 or post-CCT equivalent experience in Neurosurgery
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
