Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Clinical Fellow in Neurosurgery position at Barts Health NHS Trust. This is a twelve-month post that offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in complex spine surgery and neurosurgery.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be working in a Royal College of Surgeons approved Fellowship, involving experience in both neurosurgery and orthopaedic spinal disciplines. The post holder will be supported in their broader professional and career development, particularly with reference to CCT and CESR.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care
  • Develop subspecialist skills in complex spine surgery
  • Participate in clinical audit and research
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols
Requirements

The successful candidate must be GMC registered with a license to practice and have prior experience in Neurosurgery or a related discipline (Neurology/Acute Medicine/Critical Care).
