About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safeguarding and Child Protection Officer to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advice and guidance to Swim England and its subsidiary businesses on child and adult safeguarding/welfare and protection issues.
  • Work proactively to support members and clubs in relation to safeguarding matters, promoting best practice.
  • Attend safeguarding meetings and working groups, and work directly with individuals to communicate safeguarding practices and procedures.
  • Provide training to Swim England teams, clubs, and regions on child safeguarding procedures and legislation.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child safeguarding and welfare, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

They will be able to work effectively in a team environment and provide support and guidance to members and clubs.

The role will be based at our SportPark Office in Loughborough, with flexibility for occasional home working.
