Automotive General Manager

The General Manager at Ovwrc is responsible for directing the Centre's overall business, financial, environmental, and organizational policies. This role involves developing, recommending, and implementing approved annual budgets and organizational policies and goals in accordance with approved Ovwrc policies and directives.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the Centre's human resources management, including staff relations, discipline, hiring, and termination of staff.
- Maintain the Centre's operations in compliance with all federal, provincial, and municipal rules, legislation, and regulations.
- Liaise with government, corporate officials, business organizations, and special interest groups as needed, and manage Ovwrc's corporate affairs with respect to policy development, program implementation, business development, client services, and research.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum seven years of previous senior management experience in administration, finance, accounting, procurement, human resources, environmental management, statute, contract, and common law, strategic and business planning, and project management.
- University degree or postgraduate study in environmental management, business administration, planning, or an equivalent field of study would be an asset.
A comprehensive benefits package, including OMERS, and a competitive salary range of $113,755 to $129,542 per year.
