Job Title: Extended School Coordinator Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to support the management of our before and after school clubs and coordinate our lunchtime sessions. The successful candidate will oversee all lunchtime staff, plan and deliver engaging activities, and ensure the safe and happy environment for children aged 3-11 years old. Main Responsibilities: * Oversee all lunchtime staff, ensuring effective planning and organisation of jobs, activities, and sessions * Plan, prepare, and deliver imaginative and innovative activities suitable for children aged 3-11 years old * Support the management of our extended school team * Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people, following school policies and the staff code of conduct Lunchtime: * Establish supportive and effective relationships with the lunchtime and catering team * Oversee all lunchtime staff, ensuring effective planning and organisation of jobs, activities, and sessions * Manage lunchtime timetables alongside the SBM * Liaise with class teachers, leaders, and SLT to ensure all staff are aware of individual pupil needs * Ensure all pupils' welfare and food needs are met through each lunchtime * Ensure all lunchtime staff are effectively engaging with pupils and supporting their development during lunchtime * Take rapid action to provide support when difficulties become apparent * Follow the school's procedures for child protection, safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality After School Club: * Plan and prepare fun and nutritious snacks for children * Purchase toys and equipment as necessary within agreed budget and keep appropriate financial records * First point of contact for handling and resolving complaints from parents * Produce written or verbal termly reports * Ensure the safe collection and transportation of children between classes and the club * Manage and lead the after school club staff * Ensure delivery of creative play opportunities in a safe and caring environment * Assist in the administration of the club, keeping relevant records, and ensuring the agreed club procedures are implemented Requirements: * A suitable childcare qualification (NVQ level 3 or above in childcare, play work, or equivalent) * Experience in a similar role or relevant industry * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work effectively in a team and manage staff * Strong organisational and time management skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Working Hours: Full Time Salary: £26,873 - £29,777 per annum
