About the Position

We are seeking a Workforce Development Lead to join our team at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our education department, you will play a vital role in the training and development of our staff within the Emergency Department.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading on the specialty-specific and mandatory training needs of staff within the Emergency Department. This includes the implementation and delivery of a training needs analysis plan in line with existing national guidance and the Trust's mandatory training programme.

You will also be responsible for contributing to the provision of a support system for senior and junior staff, assisting their development in lifelong learning.

  • In response to training needs analysis, you will facilitate the facilitation of training and organize specific educational programmes that contribute to the strategic development of the service.
  • You will act as a clinical and professional role model to maintain and develop exceptional standards of clinical care, promoting and fostering a culture of education and clinical development within the workforce.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills, be flexible and adaptable, and have the ability to work without direct supervision. You should also have good communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to form positive relationships at all levels.

A strong understanding of the national strategic context of the NHS is essential, as well as highly developed leadership skills. The ability to manage complex workload under pressure and prioritize to meet deadlines is also crucial.
