Brook Street is seeking a skilled Administrative Support Specialist to join their team in Chelmsford. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will provide exceptional customer service and administrative support, ensuring seamless operations within the fast-paced office environment.

The successful candidate will work full-time (37 hours per week), Monday to Friday, with an estimated salary of £11.88 per hour. This long-term temporary role offers excellent opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the telephone help desk for the courts, providing efficient and effective communication
  • Collate and analyse complex information or data using Excel, ensuring accurate results
  • Process applications, fee accounting, and cashier duties, as well as IT data input
  • Oversee administrative procedures and processes, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
  • Liaise between Courtroom, judiciary, and public, ensuring smooth interactions and resolution of issues
  • Process correspondence, orders, and IT data input, ensuring timely and accurate completion
  • Act as an administrative liaison with internal and/or external sources, fostering strong relationships and partnerships
  • Prepare routine correspondence, maintaining professional and polished communication

Requirements:

  • GCSEs at grade C or above (including English Language) or equivalent qualifications
  • NVQ Business Administration Level 2 or suitable clerical experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • All offers are subject to 3 years of referencing checks and a DBS
