IT Infrastructure Systems Engineer

We are recruiting for a technical expert to work with a software vendor, producing bespoke solutions for the asset and maintenance management sector.
This role is responsible for the day-to-day operation and long-term planning of a hybrid infrastructure environment, including physical and virtual server environments, storage and print infrastructure, and end-user computing.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and maintain physical and virtual server infrastructure.
- Manage networking components, including VLANs.
- Ensure equipment is protected with security measures.
- Own vulnerability management and patching.
- Support testing and incremental security improvements.
- Set up and manage Hyper-V clusters.
- Maintain accurate records and update service desk solution.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Skilled in Windows Server and AD, VMware, Veeam.
- Understanding of security controls and requirements.
- Must have the right to work in the UK without restrictions/sponsorship.
- Expected to comply with company policies in respect of Data Protection, Information Security, and Confidentiality.
