Deputy Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at B&M Retail. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing your team to achieve exceptional results.
Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail professionals to deliver outstanding store performance. You will work closely with the Store Manager to develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance the overall shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing team to achieve exceptional results
- Drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction through effective store operations and customer service
- Work closely with the Store Manager to develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement plans to improve store performance and customer satisfaction
- Monitor and control store expenses to achieve budget targets
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and open communication
- Flexibility to work a range of hours, including weekends and bank holidays
