Job Title: Policy and Strategy Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Policy and Strategy Manager to join our team at the British Business Bank. As a key member of our Policy and Strategy team, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering key initiatives to support smaller businesses in their transition to a green future and net zero economy.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in policy and strategy development, with a passion for climate impact and the environment. You will be responsible for developing and implementing measures to help SMEs reduce their emissions and innovate through the development of new environmentally friendly products and net zero abatement technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policy and strategy initiatives to support SMEs in their transition to a green future and net zero economy
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to design and deliver key initiatives
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform policy and strategy decisions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including SMEs, industry partners, and government agencies
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to senior leaders and other stakeholders on policy and strategy matters
